10 Tips to Help You Organise Your Cleaning Supplies

When it comes to cleaning supplies, chances are you have cleaning liquids for every type of surface and tools for cleaning all the floors and everything in between. All of those cleaning products add up in terms of the space they take up, but here, you’ll learn how to keep them better organised with our 10 tips to help you organise your cleaning supplies.

Shoe organisers

Large, clear shoe organisers can easily display all of your bottles, wipes, gloves and other tools in a clear and easy to see way, and they can be hung on the back of closet, pantry or bathroom doors. This way, when you pass by, you can also glance at them and see which bottles are running low and need to be replaced.

Inexpensive baskets

Grab a few small plastic buckets and baskets from a local pound shop and easily store your cloths, sponges and gloves all in one place. They can easily be tucked away with the rest of the supplies for easy access.

Peg boards

If you don’t have a closet for employing organisational tricks for your cleaning supplies, you can always stick up a cork board, get some strong drawing pins and hook various mops, brooms, dust pans, baskets and more on the cork, which can be attached to any of the most convenient spaces on the wall. 

Hanging hooks and shelves

In the same vein, you can choose a spot in your bathroom or kitchen to attach some wall hooks or install simple floating shelves to store brooms, bottles and more in one organised place.

Though this might take more time, it will give you a dedicated place to store your cleaning supplies without having to dig through cabinets, as you can just spin it around and grab what you need.

In just a few minutes you can place small baskets on the insides of cabinet doors to hold small bottles, sponges and gloves. 

Chore baskets

Place cleaning supplies in small buckets or baskets that are all dedicated toward supplies needed to clean certain rooms in the house, and you can attach a chore list for even more efficiency. 

Storing trash bags

Using a dowel, you can put rolls of bin liners on the walls of the cabinets to get the bulky boxes out of the way. 

Use a rolling cart

Store all of your supplies on a tiered rolling cart that you can easily move around the rooms of the house for more efficient, comfortable cleaning.
