5 Household Cleaning Products To Clean Your Entire House With
We hope you love the products we recommend! As an Amazon Associate I earn a commission from qualifying purchases through some links in this article.
I’ve been a fan of commercial cleaning products which are so cheap to buy and convenient to use! However, they are full of toxic chemicals which can be very damaging to our health.
For this reason, I have switched to safer, non toxic cleaning products which will not harm me or the environment (plastic packaging!). Here are five household products that you can clean your entire house with!
White Vinegar Or Cleaning Vinegar
Because of it’s acidity, white vinegar and cleaning vinegar make fantastic household cleaners. Cleaning vinegar is a lot stronger and would do a much better job!
Baking Soda
Baking Soda is a fantastic and safe ingredient which can be used to clean in many different ways!
Mix two heaped table spoons of Baking Powder with two cups of water. Use this like you would your regular cleaner to clean your sinks, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces, pots and pans, jewellery and much more!
Tip: those small tubs of Baking Soda you get from the supermarket can get expensive especially when it comes to cleaning! They also come in bigger boxes which can be found in the cleaning isle of most shops that supply cleaning products.
Lemons
Lemons make a fantastic natural cleaner as they contain citric acid, they are highly acidic and have antibacterial properties. They are great at removing stains and will keep your house smelling lovely and fresh!
Quick lemon cleaner: squeeze half a lemon into a spray bottle and add half a cup of water. Use this like you would your regular cleaner paired with a sponge to clean kitchen tops, cupboards, fridges, mirrors, windows, toys and surfaces around the house.
Olive Oil
Olive Oil makes a fantastic multipurpose cleaner. Use it to polish furniture, clean tiles and hardwood flooring. It can also be used to preserve silverware and wooden utensils.
Simply pour a bit of olive oil into a clean cloth and use to polish, clean surfaces and remove paint from skin.
Salt
Salt is a fantastic all purpose, natural cleaner. I use salt to clean my caste iron pans, remove wine stains, clean clogged bathroom sinks

Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t
mind me asking what theme you’re using? (and don’t mind if I steal it?
:P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours–
but the theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would appreciate any feedback) – it’s still
in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take care of yourself
during the coronavirus scare!
Hi Justin thank you for your support! Glad you like the site, thank you for your lovely comment!
Hi Justin apologies I didn’t get to see your full message until now as I replied from the dashboard! I had a look at your site it looks great! I actually prefer yours to ours 🙂 really like the simplicity, sleekness and colours. Of course I don’t mind, I will definitely ask our tech guy about the theme for you who is away at the moment.
Thank you, you too keep up the good work, hope you are keeping well and safe! Take care, Fab
Fantastic website you have here but I was wanting to know if you knew of any discussion boards that cover the same topics discussed
here? I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get
comments from other experienced people that share the same interest.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Appreciate it!
