Several years back I had a problem with a lot of dust flying about in my apartment so I decided to get myself a Levoit Hepa air purifier.
Within a day of using my air purifier, I noticed a huge difference in the amount of dust I could see flying around in the air. There was also an improvement in the overall smell as we have a puppy. I found the odours linger a lot less with the use of my purifier.

How to check if your air purifier is working?

To take it a step further you may decide to invest in a air pollution sensor
Conclusion
A good air purifier can do an excellent job in reducing dust particles in the air and overall make your air feel cleaner. I would recommend using them alongside regular dusting, wiping, mopping and vacuuming for best results.
